Oakville or Burlington BMW indy shop?

Hi,

I am looking for some good reputable BMW indy mechanics in the Oakville or Burlington area. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I've heard good things about Cross Avenue but also heard that they are expensive.

There is also Mantis Automotive in Oakville. The owners belong to the Upper Canada Porsche owners club and is an active member so their reputation is important to them.

I've had my wife's Audi Q5 serviced there and they did not try to over sell repairs to my wife when she had brought the car in for an engine light/injector issues. They swapped the coils around and told us to monitor the situation whereas the dealer told us we needed new injectors and coils which would have cost over $1000.

They are not cheap but are a bit below what a dealer charges. Oil change for the Audi came to around $200 and they quoted me $170 + hst for an oil service for my 335. But you don't get the fancy cappuccino nor a car wash like you would at the dealer though lol. I'm actually thinking of using them for an oil change this week or next as RMP is a bit far for me. Btw, they used Moly synthetic oil and recommended we come back every 5000km for oil changes as opposed to what the computer says.

One more note, Sam at Cross Ave Motors does good work but is not cheap either. I've been to him twice and each time I had to wait and wait and call and call and chase him to work on my cars. This is from a guy who used to live at the end of my street I know he has a good rep and a strong following, but for me, I don't have a lot of time to chase the guy and beg him to work on my car. Just my 2 cents.
