Even the e46, for example, didn't come with any cup holders as standard. I retrofitted an OEM one into mine, but it's still in a really awkward location, underneath the arm rest and just behind the gear knob so if I ever have a drink there I knock into every time I go to change gear. Beautiful cars otherwise, but god knows what they were thinking when they came up with that solution.
Tell me about it, I drive to work early in the mornings, so I usually make a coffee in a Contigo flask. Its really perfect, I've had many dramas with carrying drinks in other cars before, however not the E90. I believe on the new generation 3 series, they don't have these anymore

I have to agree with the comments about heated seats. In the past when I didn't have them I used to think what was all the fuss about?

Now they are essential! Especially this last week.

Well I just got mine yesterday (325i saloon) so at the moment it feels like everything about it is wonderful, but if I had to pick one thing from the drive home - where I naturally got 'lost' a few times -
It's the way it just wafts down the road as if on an air cushion... ooh and of course it's easy to go fast

Heated seats is a definite, but for me now the fact most people think it's an M3 until they see the rear end and they look confused.

Surprising that you say yours wants to spin out all the time, what tyres are on it?
Bit of a late reply however I took my car to a local tyre place and it turns out my alignment was way out, to the point where the inner shoulders of both my rear run flat Potenzas were utterly fucked, you could see the next layer down from the rubber..

Replaced them with Michelin super sports and now loving the extra traction.

Sound of the inline six.

iDrive, just makes the dash look better.

Mood lit strips inside the doors.

Overall shape of the E92 coupe, still looks modern.

Honestly, everything.

A few notables:
Love how my I6 motor sounds
Love the sound and downshift garbles of the exhaust
Love the feeling I get every time I put it into a curve at speed
The look on the Mustang and Challenger fan boys faces when a 10 year old car blows the doors off their brand new purchase

If they were behind you I suspect it'd have been obvious you was driving an oil burner due to the clouds of soot belching from your exhaust.
Owning a derv is bad but a diesel coupe is just....wrong

Have you seen 335d? there are not like diesel trucks, you would never know it is diesel, they do burn pretty clean

Yeah I have seen diesel coupes, putting a diesel engine in a coupe is just wrong...the only thing more wrong are diesel convertibles
