What entertains you the most about your E9x?
Even though I've owned my e92 335i for over five & a half years now it still entertains me.
The noise it makes especially when driving in sports manual & the popping crackling noise when changing down with a little over run just sounds kinda dirty The speed I can take corners & roundabouts at (when road conditions allow ) it just grips & grips But mostly just how quick it still is

The speed, the sound and the dirty pops and crackles as you downshift.
How did you achieve this thing known as grip? Mine wants to spin out all of the time. |

I think it will be a while before the LCI E9X looks "old" Also, having a mapped N57 too...... The Torque.... It's bloody hilarious! And I know it's a derv but in the cabin, it actually sounds good. |

Boost and comfort.
Having a pretty fast car yet can still cruise for ages in comfort.

I had an LCI e92 M Sport, so I'd say the looks and iDrive for me.
Aside from that I feel I dropped the ball with my period of e92 ownership by going for a 4 pot diesel before I really knew that much about these cars and what they could offer higher up the range. Wedding later this year so money is tight, but after that I hope to be in a position to get myself an e92 335i or e46 m3 (or, depending how irresponsible I'm feeling on the day, maybe even an e92 m3). |

Surprising that you say yours wants to spin out all the time, what tyres are on it?

JB4, map2. It's a hand full when it hits boost in a corner with nannies off. Even with Michelin PSS!
Easy does it on the go pedal! |

I've only owned a 335I for 3 weeks, Before I owned a x5 4.6, & I would have to say I am very happy with the 335I. The power delivery is so smooth & awesome. Very fast, & the torque is awesome as well, The noise it makes is amazing to, Especially when you floor it, Should of brought a 335I a long time ago.

In no particular order
1. 6 Pot diesel - in a world of 4 pots, it's sublime, and at the same time a bit ridiculous 2. Those red LED mood lights in the doors 3. Oyster Leather and piano black combo 4. No central rear seat - occasionally impractical, but I do love the way it looks 5. Plastic backed seats - genius design, especially after football practice Bit bias of course, but I do think the E92 looks, especially the smartness of design in the cabin, has yet to be beaten. |

This is definitely something you take for granted until you drive a car with bad cup holder design. Even the e46, for example, didn't come with any cup holders as standard. I retrofitted an OEM one into mine, but it's still in a really awkward location, underneath the arm rest and just behind the gear knob so if I ever have a drink there I knock into every time I go to change gear. Beautiful cars otherwise, but god knows what they were thinking when they came up with that solution. |
