I was not overly impressed with Autowerks when I took my Land Rover there a couple years ago. They claimed to have a LR certified mechanic and no one could fix my truck. The place right next door called SLR is much better. A bit pricely but very professional. They have done all my mod work on my car except for the coil-over. I took my suspension to Vintage Auto in Durham b/c they corner balance.

I was down in 919 tonight. Who drives a black e90 335i sedan with blacklines! I was leaving the shell by I40 in chapel hill (or maybe its durham... 2 stoplights before southpoint) and I saw you and I was trying to catch up when you just kept trying to move over into whatever lane I was in!

SLR...If I were lucky enough to own a concourse type of Mercedes SL absolutely! The guy has easily a million dollars in project cars at various stages of restoration.

I only had the transmission flushed and fluid replacement. Nothing complex, compared to another German auto dealer in Fayetteville he is far and away better. I am taking my out of warranty work there instead.

Hello NC folks I will be on vacation in your neck of the woods in 2 weeks. We rented a home in Carolina Beach (30 min from Wilmington). Just wondering if anyone can provide any insight about the area, local restaurants (I do realize that some might not know the area we are staying in) but figured it was worth a shot!
