AC turns on by itself

WTF!!! my AC keeps turning on by itself. I turn it off and 10 seconds later give or take a few it's back on. Could a bad fuse be at fault? What do you think I can rather than take it in to the shop?

i had this problem too after they did some recall. but after a little bit it went away... i told them to check this up but they said nuthing was wrong. everythings fine on my car now

thats weird but your best bet would be taking it to the dealer.

one thing that i hate though, about the air, is that when your turning it off (pressing the small fan button) and if you press it one more extra time (by mistake maybe) it will turn back on.

Yea, I wish this were the case, but it's almost like its nah uh / uh huh argument with my car. freakin annoying...

had this problem b4.
i switched it to auto and let it run.
Switched off the car completely. Went to ignition on mode and reset the idrive.
Didnt come back after that. It worked for me.

What do you mean you reset the idrive? How do you do that?

hell, mine just slow down blowing when in reverse and in park..most often in reverse. it kick back up to full speed again in D.

not many of you noticed this im sure but its pretty funny.. when ur ac is on MAX.. and ur windows are closed... push the window button as ifyou were going to close it.. (pull up) and the ac looses power until u let go.. lol

I had some similiar crap like these on my M3. Don't feel like taking to the dealer yet.

Eject CD, DVD eject, and radio power, if I remember correctly.

Guys check your batteries. All these fan variation speeds are due to a low battery. I had this issue when when my old battery was low. Ever since I replaced it I have not seen this issue happening again.

The previous owner of my car had an issue with the AC turning OFF by itself. If I remember correctly, the problem was due to a short.
