so i just swapped to the lci tails, and the passengers side outer light isn't lighting up... i thought it might just be a bad light, and i made sure by plugging the pre lci back in.. worked.. decided why not try swapping the lights right to left and left to right just to make sure it is the light, and still only the drivers side works. Now that proves that the light is working. Only thing im thinking of is that it has to be the codes, since they're all throwing. Anyone else had this problem??

btw, lights light up from low to high started at drivers side.

As long as they actually light up then yes I would think the lights work fine and just need to be coded.
When installed mine for some reason they worked fine, blinkers and all. Had to just get the bulb check codes.

Did you also use the retrofit wiring harness?

I installed the LCI tails in my 09' E92 using the harnesses - all lights worked fine. I have the FRM2 module and only thing I had to do is code out the warm/cold light checks, and error reporting, so I didn't get the flickering upon startup & the hyper flashing turn signals.

The coding needed doesn't have anything to do with whether the lights actually light or not - unless there's something awful different about an E93 & you HAVE to have the FRM3 module...

And btw, you can edit your pics and turn them ccw or cw before saving with just about any picture software on the planet

We have come across this a few times.... wiring is backwards on the harness. Compare the 2 harnesses and then correct the wiring issue on the affected light. I don't remember the colors off hand since we don't run into this often. Just compare them and you should see what i'm talking about.
Also needs to be coded as well.

The harness is grooved. There's really not anyway to screw that up IMO. Maybe bad harness?

Thought about this, but I tried switching the lights from drivers side to passengers and vice versa, and the passengers side still doesn't work. So the passenger light works on the drivers side, and the drivers side light that worked on its side doesn't work on the passengers. Hence, everything works on the drivers side but neither work on the passengers. I would have thought maybe a fuse but the pre-lci light works.

Seems like wiring on the passenger side like i suggested. Did you try both harnesses on both sides as well? DO you have someone near you with an e92 you can test it on their car and see if issue follows light, harness or car.

I had the same problem with my E93. You're supposed to switch two of the wires out on the harness. Not sure exactly which color wires to swap, there should be a thread somewhere on here about it.

Going to check that as soon as I get home, I don't recall seeing an L or R on the harness though.. Not to mention that doesn't correlate with why the passenger light would work in the drivers side.

Harness does not differentiate between sides and after switching harnesses, same problem! passenger side still not working, drivers side working with both harnesses... whats bothering me is that it's not the light because i connect it to the drivers side and it turns on, and i know the passenger side is getting power because the pre lci light works when i reconnect it.
