Thanks bro, I'm glad you liked it. Since there are quite a few members here asked me the same question about the material here and there. I think it's better to clarify again: It's not cheap fiber glass, it's called "Vacuum infused FRP".

Now some might say "fiber glass has heaps fancy names but in the end they are the same thing", I'm sure they are not entirely wrong, it is true that fiber glass has fancy name, but they are not necessarily the same thing. Even for beloved PUs, those cheap made-in-tw are not trustworthy neither, isn't it?

Tell you a true story: I have lots of friends believes worst plastic better than best fiber glass, so this dude bought cheap plastic bumper from ebay for like $500, but it couldn't even survive in a not-so-serious accident, just got too deformed to repair, or say it's cheaper to buy a new one. I got another friend's ebay bumper even got damaged during the shipping. Not to mention the fitment of those bumpers are a nightmare.

Like I mentioned before, I'm no material science student, I study law. I honestly don't know much about differences b/ all kinds of materials on the market nowadays. (They just have too many names, thanks to those unscrupulous sellers.) But what I do know is, this Scorpp 1M bumper is decent enough to survive the accident that happened to me last month. I guess the quality speaks for itself in the end.

I hope it make sense to you guys

They'll look way better if the manufacture can make it a bit more concave like oem ones. Hopefully some decent replicas will be on the market soon.

Incredible car! So aggressive and great choice of wheels, less common but still tasteful.

Not to be the one that picks out one problem in something so great but I was only wondering if you did a LCI rear conversion, because it looks like the tail light is slightly sunken in, I only ask this because I am planning on doing an LCI rear tails and did not think that there would have been a fitment issue on the outer tails.

Thanks man, that's quite a good catch.

Although I'm afraid that I have to disappoint you on the LCI light conversion thing, since I never done one. The production date of the car is early 2010, and I am the first owner, so I'm sure it is a LCI with no mistake. Although I had a little accident couple of days before the shoot, a neighbour was reserving and didn't see me parking at the corner. So that's the reason why it seems a bit deformed around tail light. It's actually a bit worse than the picture if you take a close look in person, but in pictures or in distance, the dark colour makes it not so visible.

Just sent my car off to the smash repair shop last week, the rear bumper and entire left side panel need to fix up and that's about $3k big bucks cost, but the good news is the neighbour's insurance company got it covered, so it's not too bad I guess, I'll be have my car back by the weekend.

Good luck on your tail light conversion tho, let us know how it turns out!

It ain't never gonna sounds like a Ferrari, but still fantastic. Pretty heavy at idle and low rpms, purr like a big cat. But once pushed up to 4k-ish rpm, the car sounds like a beast, especially to mix up with the GruppeM intake's sound. Never gets tired of it.

My number plate tells exactly the story.

Great job mate. Very impressed with all the effort. Doing similar to 07 e90 - hesitated on front until I saw yours with CF bonnet.

Are the r/l m3 fenders aftermarket CF or dealer purchases?

Again - great job

Thanks man, CF bonnet is definitely a game changing kind of mod, way much lighter than the OEM steel bonnet and the cf pattern just look too good. Also, I hear they are testing the fitments of Scorpp 1M bumper for pre LCI cars recently, so I reckon it'll be available soon if you can wait for a couple of weeks or months.

As to the fenders, the OEM e90 m3 fender is doable, but quite complicated since the oem M3 fender is wider, so either you can do a wide body or do the whole deal of e90 M3 conversion. Either ways will cost you loads of $$$ and time to do so. Plus I prefer E92 style with the bigger vent, so mine's replica.

Hope this helps, and good luck on your project! Link me to your build thread after you done with it, definitely wanna have a look at how it turns out!

True that, I always wanted an aggressive side skirt but I fail to see much of a difference between E90 M3 ones and regular E90 ones, and BMW Performance doesn't look that good on a dark colour car. :/

Perhaps you have some good options in mind?

How's the driver position with those seats? Do you sit lower, the same or higher than the stock seats?

I'd love to get the bmw performance seats, but I heard they actually end up sitting you higher???
