I get a kick out of BMW using "Indianapolis" in the color. I'm guessing that in Europe, Indianapolis suggests speed and style due to the Indy 500, but here in the US it makes you think of hicks, hoosiers, corn & cows.
Maybe it works the other way for, say, Venice or Zurich? Are those just hick towns with a good image internationally?

The M-only colors are often named after world famous race tracks. For example: Le Mans (France) Blue, Imola Red (Italy), Laguna Seca (US) Blue, Interlagos (Brazil) Blue, Dakar (Senegal) Yellow, Avus (Germany) Blue, Silverston (UK), Estoril (Spain) Blue...etc.

A great color, but certainly not for a M5. maybe for "regular" 5 series.

It's a M5, color is secondary! ....IMHO

Is that a Do Not Touch sign in the window?

The Techno Violet M3 from the E36 days, with clear corners... that was a hot looking car.
