e90 325i 2.5ltr 24 valves?

Hi guys,
I got an e90 lci 325i with a 2.5 ltr 160kw engine, i m just curious if anyone knows howmany valves this engine has? is it or 24 by any chance? looked in the forum could not get much info as this engine was only sold in europe.

Thanks,

I don't think there has been a 12valve six since the m30 and m20 days of a 1990 vintage. The e36 320i and 325i was a 24 valve unit so for sure this will have 24 valves.

Look up the engine code on wilkelpedia to confirm

Thanks,
Are you sure you got 2.5 not 3.0 engine. Because I think lci cars came with 3.0 engine?

Garage List
Whether it's the 2.5 or 3.0 it'll still have 24 valves.

LCi 325i used the 3.0 engine, it is a 24 valve unit.

Thanks,
OP - for sure its 4 valves per cylinder, as said most decent engines have had this for well over 20 years now - think Golf GTI 16v of 1986 fame!!

Look under your bonnet, your engine code on the car ID sticker will be either N53 or N52B25 (2.5L) or N53B30 (3.0L) or something, just google the one you have, there's even wiki pages on the engines.
