Buying replacement bumper on eBay help
Hi all
I'm going to replace the front bumper on my e90 LCI m sport rather than try repairing it etc. Just wondering if anyone has ever bought one off eBay? I've seen one which looks good but cannot tell if it's oem. This is one of the pics included can you tell me what you think? Thanks |

That's the sticker you want to see. That's what's on genuine bumpers. I think you would be unlucky to buy a pattern one if there is even pattern ones available unless they are m3 style or the like.

that's great news
I've spoken to the seller who says a respray isn't required and a DA polish should do the trick. Now my only problem is getting delivered and finding someone to fit it for me |

Fitting is a doddle.

Delivery wise use Parcel2go or Paisley Freight or the like. Should be no more than £30.
I'll be happy to take your scratched old bumper off your hands. Last edited by Jim1985; 08-03-2015 at 03:51 PM.. |

Another problem I've got is that currently most of the nuts/rivets holding the under tray in place to the bumper are missing does anyone know how I can address this? Thanks |

ALSO!
I am looking at a like for like replacement i.e. sapphire black but I was wondering if it makes any sense to get another colour and have it resprayed are there any down sides to doing this i.e. issues with colour? |

As a guide I have an invoice for a new rear bumper in the paperwork for my car (it was cracked in a car park). It is in the region of £800 for parts, spray and fit. That was NOT from the dealer. The dealer quote is also in the paperwork ... £1600!

A decent e90 lci m sport front bumper right now are worth anything from £100 upwards.
Anything cheaper than that most likely will need some work. I sold a dog of one for £80 about a month back a decent condition £150 all day. I'll keep my eye out if your still looking mate. |
