You realize that is not the correct oil for your 335i or 135i or ..

I use Motul in my 135i, but have no problems using this in my daily driver 335i.

N54 requires synthetic 5w-30... not sure why this wouldn't be "correct"?

because it is not A3/B4 or bmw LL01. Castrol makes a 5w30 that is "correct" for the n54.

Good to know. I've been using the oil I initially linked, or their black bottled stuff, without an issue on my high mileage 335i daily driver.
