I see!
I love this board which I can share my own experience to others so that they can have he same experience and deal. Although saving over $300 not a lot but good enough to get another small mod . I was shock that when I saw a matt black X6 in Germany 2 weeks ago who also wrap the trims with this fabric. Here is the link of the pics that I took:http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201371

Enjoy!

ok some installed shots,

and a gratuitous exterior in the freezing snow shot

Granted its not a jaw dropping total pimp my ride transformation but it looks a lot better and gives a nice transition from black to grey,

I'm now doing the inside door handles and will have some pictures of those when finished,

they should come out like this, Only on a grey door
(these are just pics for reference, Not mine)

That looks a hellovalot better than I thought it would when I first saw the thread title. Nice Job! Do you spray over the fabric when it's done with some kind of sealant? Wonder what spray on polyurethane would look like...

No its apparently set just the way it is,
Its not genuine carbon fiber, Its a carbon fiber "look" fabric

I used one big piece and connected the 2 parts, Glued them both and layed the one carbon fabric over them both then cut down the middle where they meet and viola,
