Inside/Outside
I have a set of Pirelli P Zero Neros on my car for use at the track. I was wondering what will happen if I turn the tires around to put the inside on the outside. I have worn through the outer tread and dont want to buy new ones yet. Are there any downsides? I figure its just for water, but that wont be my problem. Thanks guys.

well directional tires are made to go in the direction they are suppose to be going..... you will loose a lot of traction, especially in hard cornering with the tires on backwards.....
although, if you drive slow, it should be alright, but i dont recommend it..... did you not think about this before tracking your car??? |

these look directional to me.... two bands of tread going one way, while one going the opposite way... but i think you will be alright with putting these tires on "backwards" |

These tires are not directional despite the tread appearance. As long as the 'outside' is facing out, you're good to go.

Ok thanks for the answer. Do you know what the difference is? My original question was if I could run the 'inside' on the outside, so opposite of what its designed to do. I have found its not a good idea, but want to know why?
