Pic request - E92 montego blue with black or painted grill

I was wondering if any Montego owners have painted their grills Matte black color matched it to the car.

Also, any of you remove the lower grills? I saw one shot on the car of the month but its hard to see.

your car will lok awsome with a matte black grill.

also u might just wanna color match the outside of the grill montego and the inside of the grill powdercoat black (the slats).

for the lower mesh, you will need to remove the whole front bumper. Well the middle you can pop out, but the sides need to be removed from the inside. Its quite self explanitory once the bumper is off.

Yup, I understand how to do it

Id like to know if anyone has a good clean picture of this done on a blue car though. I may just have to photoshop it

The car of the month has the center (lower) grill removed, but the pictures are small and I cant even tell if the ouside grills are removed or not.

Garage List
2003 S2000  [0.00]
Here is a PS'd pic that I found. I think it looks great. Now I just need to find out what the part # is for the black 328i grill so I can see if its worth ordering it or just painting the stock ones.
