This isnt bimmer related but i got the fuel system done on my toy (mazdaspeed 3). Double pumper dw65c, intank pumps, changed out the fuel lines for e85 compatibility, added port injection, and a return style fuel system to the car, along with a few other custom things.

Was just about to ask if you were a member of mazdaspeedforum cuz your username looks so familiar. But your last post confirmed. I use to be a member as well. I'm local to Raider(Eric from MSF). Anyways good to see a fellow (previous ms3) owner.

Sick project btw. Goodluck

I didn't like the header on my mazda, so I put this together last night. I should wrap it up today.

We've got flanges if you want them. I just had drawings finished for CNC flanges as well. But those are still a while out as I am getting quotes from different CNC shops. I have 2 head flanges left in stock right now if you are interested. I also had drawings made for water, and oil drain block off plugs and another to adapt them to a AN fitting. Again these are still being quoted. But I do have the oil feed adaptors in stock as well. Head flanges are $175 each and the oil feed is $125.

Vargas, I'd be interested in getting your flanges if you changed two things, #1 Can you get them with the rings for the head on one side but still have a recess for 1.5" pipe on the other side. #2. I would prefer MS for a head flange since SS warps, is more likely to crack at the head flange, and MS is cheaper. LMK

I can cut the flanges out of anything you want. But were not changing the design. what I can do is just sell you the flange minus the inserts for $150 instead of $175 then you can cut your own inserts and weld them in with or without the gap you are asking for.

The flanges are just a 2-D profile right? Have you considered just having them water jetted?

Considered? All our flanges are water jet cut. The drawings I have now are 3D drawings for Cnc.

Ahhh....I was thinking you were having 2-D flanges CNC'd. I love our Haas we have at school. Sweet machine!

Have you ever experienced welding issues from the particulate embedded in the material edges from the water jet?

Finished these up yesterday....

As far as flanges goes for this car, I'll keep holding off. B/c without an extra set of hands goodluck fitting/plotting a runner to the head without a recess for the weld el and I'm not a fan of paying for something and not getting what I want, ie...( the inserts from the flange into the head).

Ok no problem. We have them if you need them. We will have CNC flanges soon as well.
