E90 Combox on top of CIC Retrofit
Hello, I recently finished up a CIC swap on my 2009 335i. The car originally was a single hump car with few options. It has AUX in the armrest, but no USB, and HIFI. It also has what appears to be option S693 - Preparation BMW Satellite Radio, but no other options. So no MULF or TCU in the trunk.
I'd like to now do a Combox retrofit, but am wondering what the best way forward to retrofit one is? I think I'd have to run the AUX from the armrest to the trunk since I didn't have a MULF in the first place. While I'm at it I'll retrofit the AUX/USB combo switch since I have one from a scrapyard car, just need to find a cable set for it. Below are pics of the wiring that I have in place in the trunk currently, would anyone have an idea of what these are for / if they can be used for the combox? Thanks in advance! |
