There is no carbon within the injector hole to start with. The tips being black means nothing. Ask the guy who 'cleaned' his injector tips with a brillo pad how that worked out for him lol.

When it comes to injectors less is more.

You are so extreme in your advise, dont even spray tip just let it drip down etc. You seem to be person of extremes, dont touch it or rough w brilo pad LOL.

So have you had 1st hand experience w carefully wiping injector tip and you did damage?

My advise is based upon common sense and understanding how these engines work.. I don't think you realize the pressures we're dealing with here. If you did, you wouldn't worry about the injector nozzles being 'plugged' lol.

If you've got excess carbon built up on the injector nozzle body that's not allowing the crush washer to seat properly then yeah, clean that off. Just avoid touching the tip itself.

I really don't know how to make this anymore clear.
