E85 Mix

What's up guys back here with another question ! Just got my jb4 installed on my 13 e92 n55 335xi and looking to dabble with E85 now. I know map 5 is the one to use now my question is how much E85 should I be adding ? About quarter of tank on top of 93 octane or more ?

Do you have a stage 2 lpfp? E30 mix is okay in stock fuel system, get a stage 2 lpfp to push it up to e40. Use a calculator on google to show how much of each fuel you need to mix e30 or e40

You can run up to E50 with stock turbo, no need for an upgraded lpfp. If you upgrade your turbo you will need a better lpfp. There really is no reason to run more than E40 with the stock turbo.

I run about E35 with the MHD E30 OTS tune, runs smooth with little to no timing corrections for me. Usually about 5 gallons of E85 to 10 gallons of 93.

I usually mix 5 gallons of e85 and the rest 93. Found that to be the sweet spot for the best gains and least problems. Don't know where you're located but now that it is starting to get colder here my car starts like crap with e85 in it the colder it gets.

Maybe you should look at his posts...

With the right tune (keeping boost low at low rpms) you can probably run 100% e85 if you really wanted to.

Most the people that have commented have the older style HPFP. I would start at E30 and log to see if your trims are in range and that your HPFP isn't crashing. Are you running a BEF or JB4 only?

I run 5.5 gallons of E85, which in my area is actually E70, with no timing corrections and no fuel related issues, all on the 8-year-old stock fuel system for several months now.

And when is post count a determining factor in experience on this platform?

Very fair point. I forget at times that the late model N55s are flashable now and they do see significantly less flow.
