BMS pbx upgrade/update

Any word on whether or not BMS is coming out with an upgrade or an update for the powerbox? there was rumor of it for some time, maybe taking off the rev limiter or increasing hp/tq.... wondering if this is simply rumor or a real possibility.

if there is an upgrade, how would we install it?

By the way ur describing it..it does sou8nds just like a rumor..a rumor that we could only hope to become reality..but most of it doesnt make sense

No planned PBX changes. BMS is testing a speed deliminter for the 328/330 but it is not related to the PBX. It's a separate product/box in the $150 price range.

what i hate is how the car seems to pull all way to 6000 and then right when it hits 6500k it just releases its self. i dont know if thats a good description like the car becomes conservative so you dont over do the it. i kinda wish the car would give 100% all the way untill 7k and then shift (steptronic user). when your in sport mode at least.

i know people are going to refer me to look at the power chart http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=218

but im just talking how the engine responds w/ the computer. when runing the BMS the high end power is very significant so maybe this is me just noticing the HP decrease more drastically now. any opinions ?

no lol.. (i know u edited ur post, ur fine )
i was refering to more of HP curve (what goes up must come down) just trying to figure out if its actually the HP decrease that im feeling or if the computer of the car letting up on the engine a little as a safety feature to protect it and then shifts on its own.

yea yea no doubt MT is the way to go I hear it all the time. But the steptronic isn't so bad. Lets you have more control over the car. But yea I do agree MT is better in most cases and more fun. A mistake ill never make again
