I finished wiring the meth today, but as of the original post the turbo kit was installed.

Here is a time line:
Thursday 1pm-8pm: Subframe turbos exposed (subframe lowered, misc. things removed, waterpump/thermostat removed, passenger side motor mount removed, intercooler removed)
Friday 12-9: Turbos removed (water lines are PITA to get out of the block/turbos)
Saturday 11-930: ST installed, DP installed, waterpump installed
Sunday 11-7: Intercooler tapped and installed, meth ran to IC, subframe installed, misc. reinstalled.
Tuesday (today) 12-7: Figuring out how to wire meth, AEM boost, flow sensor, etc., then installing it, trim DME cover (pictures added to first post), clean up engine bay, install pump in trunk, clean garage some, take pictures of parts to sell (AR DP, stock turbos, misc stock parts.)
Thursday: Install DME and a couple feet of small meth tubing (I was about a foot short with the 4 nozzles) & then start her up.

Hmm... skill level.

Experience:
On this car... JB4, BMS WW meth, bumper/sideskirts, CIC/combox retrofit (not a kit).
Prev cars... multiple clutch swaps, camshaft/valve springs in LS1, engine swap in Ford Probe (in the snow, in a gravel driveway, during highschool).
Does mechanical engineering student count for anything?

Updated Pictures:

Very cool man and congrats and your new animal!! you must be a bad ass to do this in your garage lol. Very brave my friend, very brave.. I bet you anything its going to take some getting use to the single and its power band compared to your stock twins or even upgraded twins for that matter... singles are a whole different ball game. A really good ball game

It is a beautiful kit, regardless of how much it cost and how much extra WHP the typical enthusiast doesn't need lol.

Congrats and thank you for all the pics and write up!

Congrats on this significant mod! I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy it. I only have a question for you. Will it be easy to remove the air filter for cleaning? The pics show it behind a lot of stuffs.

The air filter really isnt that hard to get to when the kit is installed in the car. A little more work than popping off a lid, and cleaning/replacing, but not bad. 15 min to get it out, 10 to clean and 15 or so to put back it.

Looks like it can be reached by removing the pipe going from the intercooler to the turbo.

So I got it started tonight! I drove it around for a while with the meth off. At first I though it was in limp mode flooring it around 2000... but then it threw me back in the seat haha. Just need to get used to the shift in the powerband. It was around 11pm so I didn't mess with the tune at all and will run it on meth tomorrow.

When I first started it up, I had no misfires or anything luckily. Although there is a ticking in the engine bay. At first I thought injectors. But it is intermittent, ie. ticking for a minute then no ticking for 30 secs. If I rev above 1000 rpms it also goes away. It sounds like it is coming from around or behind the throttle body. I attached a youtube video. Any ideas?

Also the turbo sounds great. Takes a little longer to make some noise, but when it does you know it.

Kind of sounds like a lifter that is not being pumped up all the way. You could always try the bleed procedure. The N54 has the same lifters that are used in the n52 and they fail all the time, although its hard to pin point a noise from a video.

I am starting to think it may be an evap solenoid (came across a couple of threads with this). It didn't seem to ever vary in speed before it would stop so that eliminated the lifters. I will listen again tomorrow as it did have a small window of rpms before it stopped.

Got meth running and took some logs today. I was expecting the turn signals to turn on while meth was running and they were not so I thought meth was not working. But after checking the logs, meth was indeed flowing. I need to get in touch with Vishnu or another ST customer to see what there settings are because I am only getting 18psi currently. Overboost limit is 0-20 so not sure about that. Also I did see some turn signal flashing... right around 5500-7000 so it looks like the DMFW can't handle 18psi. But the clutch can so far.

Looks like my waterpump was on its way out (cracks in cylinder.) Also note the strength of the magnet, holding the ~5lb pump with a socket.

What are your settings for methanol injection mode? Perhaps they are too high? It should be about 3-5 lower then max flow.

It was sixty-something. Normally is is 20-25, but I assumes the higher number was because I have four nozzles instead of two. The methanol injection mode came loaded on the map.

It looks like the map isn't switching over. Maybe the Procede isn't seeing the meth flow. Neither of those logs seem to show methanol flow. They show injection %, but that's just the FAV being opened/closed. I had a couple trouble shooting issues to get mine working. A voltmeter and a buddy can help a lot to trouble shoot the meth.

Also, I see you used the red line that came with your meth tank. That should provide some nice red colored meth. I know cuz I did the same thing.

Yea you called it. I am working with Shiv to fix it. He had me log meth flow and it read 0. Although I know meth is flowing because my BOV it blowing it everywhere.

I am going to check my wiring tomorrow or Saturday and see if I am having a connection issue somewhere.

As a side note, I got accepted to GA Tech for grad school yesterday so maybe there will be 2 single turbos in the area next fall.

Put a voltmeter on the wire that sends the signal from the flow meter to the Procede, jump the hop switch so the pump goes, rev past 3000 rpm (in neutral) and press the volume down button. See if the volts go down from 5V.

Congrats on getting into GT's grad school!! Such a great engineering school. I am not in Atlanta right now, I graduated there for undergrad back in 06 [also in Mechanical Engineering]. I currently am working in Orlando (PE). I have been considering going back for my Masters though, but need to finish law school up first (year left).

looking good! my kit just arrived last week. I'm probably going to tackle it end of March beginning of April when I'm not working 8 days a week. Quick question though, can you identify the water feed and returns on the block. I cannot find any good pictures labeling them. This is just for personal info. I may utilize them for something if they are easily accessible. thank you

You can see the plugs on the top left and top right of the engine. The returns went into the stock pipe in the center (the new pipe dosen't have a place for the returns though.

Ahh i see thanks! . Probably why i couldn't find the return. I was thinking about installing a water/oil heat exchanger to help with some temps. We'll see though
