hi

you can take everything including DME+CAS+KEY but that means to change the VIN in all your other modules , so basically your entire car will have the identity of the donor car.

i would get the original key for my VIN instead of replacing cas+dme+keys

those are points where wires split usually hidden along the main wiring harness of the car. from there many modules get their signal

Did you guys just order the key from the dealer ? My dealer says they can't get me a comfort access key for my non-comfort access VIN.

most of the guys here ordered the key from me. I can order the key from BMW even if the car doesn t have the option $322 from factory. If you only want the option $322 added to your VIN, this is also possible. After this , you can order the CA key from your dealer because the car will show in BMW database as having Comfort Access

Do you know the part number for the 3 pin connector to the door handle. I have comfort access but the wires are broken to the end of the connector. Cannot solder and need a new one.

I unfortunately still haven't finished install of CA in my car. Have door handles and harness installed but the rest of the wiring is completely beyond my understanding of locations... Ah well, the handles look cool! :P

LOL, I know. I know. It is a bit ridiculous to not have this installed.

I've had a couple BMW techs state that they did not know where these wiring bundles are located. Antenna locations are pretty easy.

I think I need to dedicate a weekend and tear apart the interior for these wiring bundles.

Dimitru, have you come across anything that will allow you to start an e92 w/out CA by just pressing the start button and not actually inserting the key?

Why isn't this a simple hack?
