Intercooler and active cruise?
Has anyone fitted a 7" intercooler to a 335i E9x with active cruise. I'm wondering if it fits behind the radar sensor on the front grill?

I researched this exact topic this week as I also have adaptive cruise.
From my reading the best you'll fit in is a 6" deep core without needing to modify the bracket holding the sensor, any messing with the bracket could result in the sensor being misaligned which could mean it does not work properly and you could end up rear ending someone. Unless your looking for big power I would or thought a 6" core would be more than big enough, especially in our climate. |

Cheers Drew,
I just liked the look and price of the 7" HD VRSF part, there's not many 6" cores that I can find and what there is seems to be more expensive than the 7". I did find one post from a guy who had fitted the 7" but found it a PITA to do I'm not looking for huge power but I am doing a turbo upgrade so the 7" would've been perfect. |
