Just got my 57 (Oct 07) 320d M Sport Coupe. Changed from a Golf GTi which I miss loads. Golf was re mapped to 230 to 240bhp so I am missing that bit of Whooosh. This forum is the Dog's... I really did miss the Gol forum and didn't think I would find a suitable replacement.

Just Googleing Blue Fin as I am looking at re-mapping the 320. Any suggestions as to who are the good guy's? I would prefer to be able to have the option to remove the map when I take car in for service. Based in Dublin Ireland and there are not many places here that re-map!

Helo, just joined the forum and am interested in advise and opions as I'm about to replace my existing 320D ES saloon. I inherited the previous car when it was around 12 months old when I changed jobs. It came with 17 inch alloys, half leather, auto box and cruise control.

It's now been due for replacement and in the current economic climate the company is tightening up a little on allowable specs. Essentially I'm allowed to go up to a maximum of a 320D SE with no extras, so I can spec up a 320D ES or go for a 318D ES or SE. No option of choosing a 1 series (or any other make for that matter).

I'd have about £1,300 to get some toys if going for the 320D ES, £1,100 for the 318D SE or £2,400 for the 318D ES. I'd be interested in any thoughts on the following:

Engine. I really like the engine on the current car and was looking forward to the new one given that it's got even more BHP, however would the 318D do the job? The biggest difference looks like the mid range power (handy for take over bids in tight situations).

Where else to spend the money. I'd maybe like to upgrade the speakers as the current ones distort whilst I can still hear my own voice! I'd also want to get the USB adaptor to ipod etc. Sat nav looks pretty cool but at a price.

What are anybody's thoughts and experiences?

I am an official n00bie, and have recently purchased a loverly E93 325i SE in Space Grey with optional 18s and Red Dakota Leather.

It really is a loverly thing, but I want to make it my own! I am more than open to suggestions or criticisms, but please try and be gentle with me either way

Welcome, Kaiten. You're about a week and a half late.

You could have stopped by at UK7 last weekend in Cambridge and gotten a lot of wholesale suggestions straightaway. Doubt you'd have gotten any criticisms from any of us, either. Do us all a favour and post up some pictures.

And yes I realised to my detriment earlier today I had missed you guys by all of 11 DAYS!! PAH!!! I'm so MAD! But I would of also been very jealous of all the nice M3s out there, and those lovely very fast turbo'd N52 engined beasts.... oh well....

It doesn't matter whether it is plain vanilla stock or modded out the ying-yang. This motley crew likes pictures! If you have some on your computer, start a new thread and attach them. If you go down the "Reply to Thread" window there is a button labeled Manage Attachments. Click there and it has a place to load up to five pictures. That should placate this bunch for a few moments. Repeat as often as you like.
