Hi guys just purchased a VERY interesting E90. Its a 330i SE but its not your normal run of the mill jobby.
Previous owners were WSR (West Surrey Racing) and if your still not clear on who they are, well they compete in the BTCC and were independant champions 3 year running Anyway, my purchase was a promo car they took to all races and was regularly driven by the likes of Collard, Turkington and Foster with passengers getting an 'as close as you can get to BTCC' kind of lap. It has full roll cage, Sparco's, sports suspension and Style 216 wheels. And a full respray in what can only be described as 'RAC orange' (they were the sponsors at the time). Will try to get some pics up ASAP. Last edited by cdti; 08-14-2011 at 07:53 PM.. |

Hello everyone, its been 15yrs.....
hi to everyone,
My last BMW was 15 yrs ago, since then mec's and motors of the rising sun jumped onto the jap scene, had loads of funSupra TRD twin turbo, Evo X (360bhp)..... which was my down fall! The misses complained from day one, she couldn't drive it (insurance said no no to her). Just managed to meet her half way, so got my BMW again..... E93 335i M-Sport Convertible Really enjoying the car, and the quality build, but heavy (maybe driving the jap cars too long *weight loss program*). |

Hi all, heres my new (well old) motor. Its a 58 plate early LCi M Sport 330d in Bluewater. I was originally looking for a LeMans blue 330d with options such as Sat Nav, Xenons, Leather and most importantly Manual! I chased after a few but they wer'nt to be.
So I ended up stretching the budget a little to this 58 plate early LCi 330d in Bluewater. It was at the right price at a 'car supermarket' with 55k on the clock. Yep slightly high for the age but 1 previous private owner and full BMW history. I had seen the Bluewater colour before but as they were the LCi model, i always saw them as being out of my reach. This one turned out to be a bit of gem in terms of spec. As it was at a Car supermarket, they wernt specialists and i dont think they knew the exactly what they had got. To my advantage this is the spec that i have ended up with:- * LCi Spec with the 241bhp engine, * Dakota black leather, * Xenon lights, plus adaptive, * Prof Nav with HDD (is this standard on the LCi?) * USB conectivity, * DVD player (Standard on Prof nav?) * Electric front seats. Had a few scratches to deal with when i brought it, but at the price was worth it and i have sorted these out Only plans that i have are the Alpine Hi Fi upgrade and LED halo conversion.
