Do bother with OEM Performance brakes (the yellow 6 piston set up)

Get F30 4 piston brakes instead with 340 or 370 discs - much better

Yeh, they are 340mm!

Ideal if you have 18" rims.

If you have 19", then hold out for 370mm!

370mm are much much rarer.

Just be careful when purchasing as most out there are the 340mm's.

The calipers are NOT interchangeable between the two disc sizes!

Okay will do. Are 340s too small for my wheels then?

Not too small - they will fit fine!

It's just that with 19" you can get the 370's under the wheels!

You may need spacers to get the OEM wheels to clear the calipers though - with either the 340's or 370's

Can you buy a 370mm front only kit direct from BMW. Only reason I ask is most of the 370 calipers are blue with standard discs and I want the mustard ones with the performance disc. A set like that is never going to come up on Ebay

I did enquire at BMW about the Gold performance kit but they said the part is not available nor listed on the system for the car at all. Even though it is on their site below;

Sorry Just checked your link - the gold brembo performance brakes are only for cars up to and including the 330i, they are not an upgrade for the 335i
