My wife and I have both been very happy with the standard Motorla Razr (V3c? model I think) from Verizon. Integrates flawlessly with the 335i, and BMW has a phone adapter cradle for the Razr that allows the phone to tie-in to the shark fin antenna, considerably boosting the range of the phone in the rural areas we frequently drive. Cradle works great as well, and an easy-self install with no tools.

Anyone using a blackberry & bluetooth setup? I don't know if I can set the bluetooth up for both a bb and a razr or if I have to choose between them. 1 of my tasks for today!

I have the motorola E815 and my wife has the Razr. Both connect and work great. I have the cradle for the E815. My wife does not use the car much so we have not bothered with the cradle for the Razr.

i have a Palm 700p that sorta works OK with BT. I can make/get calls, although the CallerID seems to always show the wrong number. Plus, the phonebook doesn't transfer.

Anyway to get around these problems without having to get a new phone?

I had the Razr and it worked great, now I have the KRZR and it works just as well. I've not had any issues at all.

As for setting up the BB and a RAZR, the car can only connect to one phone at a time. You can pair them both with the car however you have to set the priority level (ie which one it will connect to if both are present) However that doesn't always work. We've had two phones set up with mine being higher on the list but if the other person gets in the car first then it will connect to that phone and you have to shut that bluetooth off in order to connect to the other one.

I have the same problem with my caller id...pretty annoying...wasn't quite sure how my voicemail was calling me the first time

LG VX8300, great compatibility, no issues. I like the software on the phone, easy to use and visually appealing.

Motorla makes the BT module for BMW so any Motorla BT phone should work fine, the older Razr had some issues but the new ones seem to be better. I had issues with my Razr and now I have a SLVR and it works great.

Your question about setting up BT for both has been answered already, but as for the car syncing with a BB, I use my BB from work with my E90 and it works perfectly. Phone book transfers, caller ID works, etc. It has made me a huge believer in BT and now I want it on every car I get in the future.

How many contacts do you have or that you sync'd? I'm having major problems with my BBerry Pearl on my E90 w/iDrive/BT. Whenever I have "Address Book Transfer" set to enable on the BBerry, it pops in and out of bt range on the car's display. If I disable this, the phone stays paired and works perfectly.

Odd.

I have 1200 contacts in there, so I'm thinking that might be it.
