I'm the same way. After many attempts it finally goes through, but I cannot uninstall or change maps. If the tune fails after it has started flashing, it will not start. My personal opinion is to wait unless you have another car you can drive and you can chance having your car sit there.

1 more week til Rob comes up to DFW and I'll have my car for him.

Mine comes in the mail tomorrow- I think I'll just wait till they sort this out! I'd be curious to know the ratio of AP units that have installed successfully to those that have not for the 2007 model.

awesome, thank you so much! I have that code, no other codes... and I wasn't sure what it meant. Tried to clear it, but it is still there

Love this tune btw, went from SSTT to this and I can feel more power mid-range, even more power up top, and just an overall better tune. I think I am hitting around 17 psi near 4k rpm's then it slowly drops as it climbs. I know I have had a shift spike of 21.7 psi so far, but that is because of where it is measured. I know the BOV sounds much more pissed now

Just like a McDonald's commercial "I'm lovin' it"

What was the consensus on boost spikes? Just checked and I am spiking/max boost is 20 PSI during moderate-heavy but not WOT throttle...Should I be worried?

Have any 07s that were having the problems loading the AP tried again and had better luck?

Yea, I posted last week that I'm having the same issue. I haven't tried installing again though, since trying 8 times the first session. I'm cool right now bc I know Cobb will make it right soon. Plus, the t-shirt helped

So looks like I'm not getting a T-Shirt

But we had no issues with installing the COBB on the 3/07 e90 6speed. Downloaded fine and uploded everything fine without any issues....other then the wipers going off at 2% downloading and uploading

So impressions?.....HOLY MOTHER OF LITTLE BABY JESUS!!!!

Hit the gas 15psi (have Turner boost guage)..redline, shift, 15psi, Traction control light flashes, redline, shift, 120mph....pee pants, turn on heated seats to dry pants, make u-turn, pee pants again.

I seriously can't believe how quickly the car flies to redline and how quick the speedo moves and this is on 93 Map 1. Can't wait of the IC to get here and Map 2 to come out but it's MORE then enough right now. My wife is enjoing her 110 mile daily commute.

This is one of the easiest products that I've ever seen or installed with the best bang for the buck.

I haven't got my shirt either, maybe today... I am also EXTREMELY anxious about getting the Cobb installed :-) I have a 10/06 production 2007 car. Can't wait till they find the fix for those of us with the 3% communication error problem.

I think it a fantastic product. Easy to use, and even with the 201 map it's just fast....very fast without any drama. The power is there if you want it but it drives normal when you don't need the power and are just cruising around.

Couple of things that I realy like over the stock map (we have a wastegate fix stock map )

1. We have a Turner exhaust which at first I was not very happy with because it seemed very loud at idle and droned like mad between 2-2.5k. Now with the Wastegates closed the exhaust actualy sounds very good and the drone is almost gone (you have to basicaly think about listening to it to even notice that there is any drone)...so it's a huge plus.

2. With the stock map and the waste gates open it lagged soooo bad and took way too long to get to 8psi. You basicaly had to remind yourself that the car was turboed. Now the power is at your foot. Drive the car at 1/4 throttle and it drives like a nice little 3 series. Mash the throttle and it hits 15psi before you can blink and you are just gone. Only problem is that you have to watch your tach because the revs fly by like your hopes and dreams. Watch the speedo also, you will reach very illegal speeds....very quickly

All in all if feels like a stock car with a whole hell of alot of power....I just realy can't believe that this is a stage one map because to me it's already very fast.

I agree with you the car is fast but I think there are a few people that like throttle input dependent of pedal position. I like the power when it comes on strong but I hate the part throttle sensitivity. I had to relearn to drive my car because it. This is one of my grips with the tune. The 2nd would be a wierd power wobble (surge) I get at half throttle. The car boosts up to 14.7 and it feels like your coming on and off the pedal even though your holding steady at 1/2 to 3/4 down on the pedal. another issue I am having is throttle closure. I feel when letting off the gas it does not respond as fast as I do, if that make sense. a bit of a delay. If I can get the car to tune out these issues I'm having I would say this is one of the best tune out thier but until then I have to say I miss my Dinan tune.

I will agree with you that a more refined and linear power delivery map is in order. I would like to be able to use the pedal for more then 1/4th of the way until all hell breaks loose. The map is cool right now but I can see it getting very enoing later on. My wife will drive the car to work for a few days and let me know what she thinks.

lol, reminds me of my wife first impression with the Cobb tune. make sure you warn her about the part throttle. I purposely did not say anything to my wife when I told her to go for a ride. we drove around she said she didn't really feel a huge difference between the Dinan and the Cobb but she did say it felt crisp during shifting. then she got on the freeway and push the gas pedal down.. All I heard was holy crap; coming from her as she backed off the gas and the look on her face was priceless. after a couple of explanations she didn't understand pedal position vs power delivery and I stop trying to explain it to her I just said easy on the gas pedal from now on.
