Seriously, what is wrong with the Infiniti's?

Not one to start this kind of a thread (it invariably ends up unfruitful and closed) but there seems to be something wrong with the cars or the people who drive it. Every time i see one of those cars (the G37's seem to be most populous), they either end up cutting you off, staying 1mm from your backside or trying to tempt you into some kind of a race.

I like spirited driving as much as the next person but this antisocial behavior is just completely uncalled for.

I'm fine with them... for me it's usually some American car. They are always the ones cutting me off, tail gating me, or driving extremely aggressive in general.

Did the G37 even make any performance gains over the G35x? Seriously, all the videos/stats I've seen have put them at equal 0 to 60, equal quarter mile times.

then again it's not like I look too hard. anyone who knows more care to comment?

All I ever see are youtube videos of 0 to 60 where they try and use youtube times to estimate 0 to 60 which is laughably pathetic. "HEY GUYS IT STARTED AT 7 SEC AND ENDS AT BASICALLY 11 SO 4 SEC GUYS"

at least when the lexus IS guys do 0 to 60 times they use actual DEVICES to accurately measure their specs, like this dude:

it's not just "hey guys starts at 8 ends at 13.5 4.5 seconds!!" it's actually measured with a device.

G37 drivers think they drive rockets. I've learned to ignore them. Plus its always a good laugh when they start revving their engines and cutting people off to get ahead.

basically they added more weight to the cars... so this offsets any additional power they received.

MHO they are good cars that last, anybody who says otherwise is just a h8tr.

330hp on paper is not the same as 330hp on the street. I think Infinity overestimates their HP. I had a 300hp G35 and by no means was it a quick car. My current 328i, in DS mode, feel way quicker than my old G35. Not to hate on Infinity but I never plan on going back to it.

In NJ most of the Infinity drivers are either attention whores or fruitty looking Guidos. YOu know the ones with the hat to the side and who buy their shirts at the Baby Gap so that they can look jacked in them.

Anyways, my friend who is pretty well off has two popular japanese cars. At age 16 his parents bought him a G35 coupe, and then at age 20 his parents bought him an IS350. He loves to think he's hot shit also, always trying to race Audi A4s and Honda Civics. He is also an asshole. The proud to admit to be an asshole kinda guy. He LOOOOVES to bash on my BMW, but its okay. As long as he feels better about paying less for more horsepower in his Lexus. I've got better cars to deal with than get offended at a Lexus driver bashing on my BMW.

Not to be sterotyping... but kids who drive infinitis also watch fast and furious: tokyo drift aswell as a bunch of other shitty car movies and listen to rap.

They think that when they buy these cars it makes them gangster and cool. When they see better cars in the road that they don't own.. .( your BMW ) they will try to cut you off and do all this stupid crap to prove to them selves that they are better than you. I don't know how it works but just ignore them, they are as shitty as their cars

Pretty much this. I've noticed the exact same thing with G37 and A4 drivers. If anything the A4 drivers are worse, but there's more G37 drivers on the road.

I dont think all the G37or 35 drivers are like that......sure of one thing.....they get horrible gas mileage in city.....so they are naturally sad...sad everytime they fill gas...and they just want to make themselves feel better by trying to prove that they got better cars.....

two things you can do:

1. race with him.......get caught by a cop or endanger the life of the other people on the road...

or

2. Just laugh at them....and let it go....

One time an IS250 was giving me shit (It was a chick) and we finally stopped at a light. I peeled off and didn't see her again. (cuz I got on the highway and she went the other way)

I generally ignore them but when they give me too much shit then i get pissed off.
