Car looks great mate. It's come a long way with some tasty mods. By any chance do you have link for the exhaust tips?

HOLY THREAD REVIVAL!,
Thought I would update this with what has happened over the last few months but not necessarily in the correct order
Simon from Keep Your Car Safe (top guy to deal with) updated my headlights to the DTM style rings and also added demon eyes, I also opted to have new headlight lenses fitted to make sure everything was tip top.

I also decided to refresh the suspension with M3 control arms front and rear, new track rods and ends, rear suspension bushes and standard camber arms, I also had my power steering rack fail on me and throw fluid everywhere
(including the brakes which was quite a interesting experience!)

I am now also full straight through on my exhaust, no primary or secondary cats, back box was already removed previously. I love the sound now although if I could eliminate the trombone type noise that happens for a split second when under high load it would be perfect for me)

New set of Pilot Rods 4S fitted along with powder coated calipers and new braided lines

and just for fun here are some random other photos
Geo settings from changing the arms and steering rack

From Santa pod

Just because

Lovely car and tastefully modded. I personally don't like red callipers (would have gone with BMW BBK). Also would have got an LED eyebrow installed in the headlights. Really looks good with the DTMs.

Thanks for the comments, reason for the red calipers is I already have a red interior so wanted to keep with the black and red theme going on.
I did think about the eyebrow but wasn’t 100% on it but is something I may re do at some point

SNAP on the lights lol. Looks really good.

The suspension and brakes are a nice upgrade and I do like red calipers. 1M bumper looks good too. Certainly come on some.

Thanks Raj,
Not going to lie, I have looked at your build several times and i am trying to use it as inspiration for mine, but mine feels a little more 'budget' (tell that to the mrs though!)
Found a carbon M3 roof on good old ebay for £250 but it looks pretty beat up, was it a massive pain to swap yours?

Cool I'm glad the thread has inspired tbh. Always nice knowing others like/appreciate what you've done enough to do the same.

The roof is a bit of a pain to fit as you have to remove both front/rear screens and cut the old metal roof out before bonding the CF one in. But it is a superb mod if you fancy it. The amount of people that think it's a wrap or something till they get up close and then realise. Then the jaws drop lol.

Lovely car!! I was always unsure of the squared off angel eyes, but i have to admit they look great on your car. Plus the red demon eyes set off the callipers nicely. just the right amount of red as a highlight.

After seeing your car I'm debating the m1 bumper. I was happy enough with the m tech one, i was going back and forth on the idea of replacing with an m3 one, but you pics might have me sold

+1 for carbon roof, if you can pull off the mod its definitely an extra level of unique/ awesome, which to me is half the modding game

Such a tastefully modded car! Wow.

Did you get the akrapovic back box or just the universal tips?

Do you have a video of the sound of the exhaust?

Thank you for the kind words,
it is just the tips as the real deal is obnoxiously expensive (but worth every penny). I'll try to get a video of the exhaust but i don't have a go pro or anything so will be a little hard.

Just some gratuitous pictures after fitting 15mm spacers up front and doing a stud conversion

Looking good. I'm liking the wheels even though I'm not usually fan of black on black. What are they? Apologies if you mentioned it already.

I’m not usually a fan of the ‘murdered out’ look with but it kinda just happened
The wheels are Style 763 from C M W h e e l s, only available in black though which is mostly why it’s black on black, it was a toss up between the 763’s and a set of BBS RS but I figured they’d be a nightmare to keep clean

Lovely car, great mods. Would look better if the wheels weren't black, ive got CSL's in gunmetal grey from CSL.

The red and black combo is defo a winner, love mine.

Mainly autobrite direct products but this was taken just after applying Harley Wax and I must say the beading and gloss levels are insane!
