Another Bimmerlabs 330i tune thread

I was on a drive and only had my Bluetooth OBD scanner which connects to my phone via the Torque app so I cleared them and I will see if they come back,add then I will read with INPA, Which is not as hard to use as I thought (just a side note) LOL.

Just clear them. They're because during the flash, the DME goes offline, and the CAN bus can't talk to it, so the other modules throw a CAN communication error.

a little bit of both - I doubt I'll ever post on forums regularly, but I have been trying to spend time updating and finishing several things.

I'm having an issue getting rsa delete to flash and winkfp goes unresponsive.. it defaults to 08msv70 and when I change to 12msv80, it gets angry when I plug in a ecu-address value.. also when I download the MsV80 rsa delete, there isn't a Bat file so the only bat is for the msv 328 to 330 flash

Understood, your regular participation has been missed. Try to Pop in and say "hi" every now and then.

I don't do nearly as much with the cars anymore either. Swamped at work and house renovations are killing me.

It came down to time or money and I was tired of F-ing with it so I hired Adrian at SF********* to do it... my issues seem to be my crappy borrowed laptop.. I'm waiting on Adrian's green light to go for a spin

Update: it's a totally different car .. fkn rips

hassmaschine seems to be right. I cleared the codes and drove a few hwy trips and the codes haven't come back yet. They showed up within a couple miles of driving after the flash so I kinda had a hunch anyways it was a temp glitch.
Thanks for all the help guys.

As far as everyone posting about this now, we (at least me) have the time now to play with this stuff. Being off work or working from home is boring AF sometimes so why not tackle some of the projects we have been putting off.

Trying to flash the 3.0si tune on my e85 z4 3.0i, and when I am doing the RSA delete Winkfp says status: wait for the control file. I've tried every different way of installing and reinstalling all the tools, any help?
