Authentic BMW Performance Exhaust for any year E92/E93 335i/335xi cars. Part number 18102208799. $1200.

Exhaust is used, and comes exactly as pictured.
Tips are in great shape, some minor scuffing on the bottom, invisible when installed.
Two of the clamps are useable, but should probably be replaced.

This exhaust is mainly for e92 chassis, but will fit e90 (and some modified e91s ) as well with tips being 3/4" longer.

Yes, the general fit is the same on both couple and sedan cars.
The only difference is the actual length of the tips. They will stick out approx 3/4" further on a sedan.
Since the tips are single wall, they can be cut to length if desired, without much hassle.
Also, if your car has Msport bumper, the difference is barely noticeable.

Been looking for a setup like this for my e90. is there a difference between n54 and n55 M-performance exhausts? Do they bolt right up, no welding?

I really want it but it may be little out of my price range atm....

So apparently, upon doing more digging, it seems as though the kit for e90s comes with more piping that includes an X-pipe which cuts out the center resonator. Just having the mufflers like with the e92 kits won't do. Boo

That a really clean system & you must of not put many miles on it. Wish you lived a touch closer. Would this fit a 2011 335i with the N55... ?

N54 mufflers fit on N55 exhausts and vice versa

I would know, I just installed a full N55 exhaust with N54 M Performance mufflers on my N54

I don't believe there is a difference in the N54 M Performance exhausts and N55 part number/version, just difference revisions on the muffler casing, product stamping/"plaques", and possibly the interior sound deadening material. As far as I'm aware, all 10 or so part numbers floating around all sound the same. Only physical differences that matter are tip lengths between e90/e92 and the x-pipe section for e90 N54 cars included in the e90 specific kits

For your N55, you just need the muffler system (like the one OP has). Your exhaust already has the x-pipe section regardless if it is e90 or e92

Yes they all fit but they are all different. You installed N55 section but from RWD thus no secondary cats. All XDrive n54 and n55 as well have secondary cats. Also there are two versions of the performance muffler, with valve and without. I wasn't aware about the N55 iX still coming with secondary cats so thank you for that bit of info; but yes: I bought a e90 N55 335i section, 18307613660. It is indeed RWD, not iX

As far as the performance muffler with valve, I believe the e90 kits came with them but e92 kits did not. If there are two versions for both e90/e92 with and without valve then I'd stand corrected. Regardless and unfortunately, I wasn't able to source an M Performance exhaust with the valve so I will be modding it in with the help of my local exhaust shop when I get the fitment adjusted and ready to put new tips on

I don't think that's right; the part numbers stamped on the "plaques" match OP's and any thread I managed to cross reference my numbers to brought up the kit number 18102208799 which is an early model e92 335i system. As far as I'm aware, BMW never made an M Performance exhaust for the 335d: I was barely even aware that e92 335d exist but you learn something new every day

USA never got the valved variant of the PE, although you could consider the 335is muffler to be somewhat comparable. Even with the flap open it sounds different than true PE however mainly due to dual walled tips.

The N54 Xdrive PE comes with the xpipe section, which is exactly the same as stock equipment on n54/n55 coupes and rwd n55 sedans. Cats had nothing to do with it as it's designed to splice rightt after them.

Stock 335d muffler didn't come with a flap like 335i one. I wonder how that 335d muffler section would sound on gas engine. Hmm...


Anyways, this muffler section will fit any e9x 335i/335xi car as stated in the OP, easily shipped as well. I can provide a stock X-pipe section to mimic the xdrive PE, but shipping that won't be cost effective.
