S55/M4 Flywheel for DCT
Anyone know the PN of the S55/M4 flywheel I should be looking for for my N55? I'm having ghost misfire issues at high power high RPM.

What positive changes do you get from using this flywheel?
EDIT: Ok, I see that the S55 flywheel is 8.12kg and the N55 DCT flywheel is 12.42kg so that's a huge difference. Does it fit plug and play or require some further modifications? Any changes needed to the DCT software? Last edited by Raghza; 12-28-2022 at 12:46 AM.. |

direct plug and play.
i am on stock bmw dct software, daily driving hasnt changed abit, cruising at low rpms at town without sport modes feels the same. when you start punching it you can feel the difference in the revs - much happier to redline. gear changes on sport mode are much punchier and livelier, helps with the sportlike feeling of the dct. nvh is the same - you can hear a very slight rattle from it when you stand next to the car but not from inside the car. i still havent tried the xhp dct software as i am sure it will add to my enjoyment, i hope they would add someday the double pedal press to N someday like the porsche pdk has.
