Cluster powering out of the car

hey, i bought bmw cluster to play a bit, change some stuff, maybe wire some led's and i wanted to know how to power it on outside the car. is it possible at all? I thought maybe i only need 12v and put + and - to the correct pins on the back of speedometer where it shuold connect to the car plug. any ideas?

As I know, you need to know what VIN is stored in the cluster then you can enter the hidden menu and run the tests

You press the odometer reset button and cluster will come alive. Once 12v is attached.

Its been some time, i connected speedometer, but now other problem is that i want to run test where all needles move and leds light up, but i need to turn on ingition, is it possible to manipulate ignition somehow via pins?

Unfortunately it looks like cluster is waking up via CAN command.
