Battery registration
Has anyone here registered a new battery on their car or know someone that can? Car died today and I plan on replacing the battery real soon.

BMW Excluservice quoted me about the same. I think anyone with a BT tool or INPA can take care of it. Stephane at BMW Excluservice has convinced me to do it with them since the battery I will be getting from them will be an interstate battery which will have a warranty on it. They will be the ones who would handle the warranty claims instead of me.
With battery and registration, it was something like $300. |

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. After posting the same request and receiving no help from the likes of these characters, I wound up taking my car to an indy shop in the area and had my new battery registered for 1/2 hour of labor (~$45).

What shop in NoVa did you take it to? Where did you buy the battery from?
