20's with a lowered car

Hello everyone...my first topic post... I just got a '12 e92 335i about 3 weeks now. Its a non-sport ( dealer only had 1 car with a 6mt ) does have a gloss black grills and the cf rear spoiler.

My question is. Ive been researching on getting wheels..and I really like the vossen wheels..cv3 to be exact. I know there are releasing soon 19's...but after watching all the youtube video's with 20's....the 20's sure do look good, I know the tire will be like a rubber band.. what would be the recommended lowering for the 20's or even the 19's ?

Thank you in advance for your help

It really depends on more that just 19 vs 20 inch wheel.
Depends on tire size, wheel width, offset, fender work, how much camber you would run etc etc
I would just get a set of coilovers and adjust accordingly

+1

You'll need coilovers to lower the car which have adjustable ride height. ST V1, KW V1 are two of the most popular on this forum.

Research wheel specs first. There are one or two people here running the Vossens. Keep in mind our 3-series was not designed for 20" wheels; max offered by the factory was 19". I think the ride is going to be pretty hard with 20" and you're going to have to be real careful with potholes and speedbumps.
