ISTAGui has stopped working - help!

I've installed and re-installed ISTA D and can't get it to run. I get an error message that it isn't working with the details shown below.

Searched on here and everywhere else and can't find a solution. I have a working Std Tools install on the machine.

Anything obvious that may be the problem?

Screen shot of the error please...

Did you uninstall and run the cleaner before reinstalling?

The instructions I used didn't mention running the cleaner so I didn't. I recall when searching for a solution seeing something about a registry cleaner.

Here is the screenshot of the dialog box.

Thanks

ISTA can be troublesome when installing as standalone.

I would uninstall everything. Download from a different spice. Run the cleaner in the package. Then reinstall.

I'll give that a try. The ISTA download I used didn't have a cleaner in the package so I need to find another source.

Again, thanks.

I'm running into the same problem, do you have a suggestion for finding the download?

You didn't indicate the thread and it can't be this one as there are only
about 8 entrys in it.

When you see something about a missing method it indicates problems
with the Microsoft C++ programs installed or not installed.
