The catback system is from CPE (custom performance engineering) purchased in 2007. Not sure specifically the brand they use but I am sure they are generic mufflers with tips branded with their CPE logo. Midpipes are 2.50 in diameter.

Insignia brand is a Best Buy branded specific they're not the best quality but the price is pretty cheap. Which verison without the screen GoPro are you talking about? The GoPro Sessions? GoPro 5?

I'm thinking of putting vibrant resonators to help with drone and rasp. I have a E90 N55, would 1790 or 1972 fit better? Just want to make sure I'm using the correct fitment for either 2.25" or 2.5". I've read N55 exhaust technically is about 2.36" so wondering which version vibrant resonator best fits. If it even matters.

My E90 N55 has dual exhausts so I'll need to get 2 of these.

You will have a difficult time putting the 1792 or 1141 resonators anywhere but where the secondary cats were.

not vibrant but equivalent 12inch 2.5(2.4 would be better fit) resonators. car now shoots flames on wot/aggressive driving. all rasp/drone is gone. doesn't sound like a civic anymore. More linear exhaust tone. burbles about the same maybe a bit quieter. ill see if i can get vid soon. fitment is okay, try to pull it closest to the downpipes to not foul the support bracket.

*stock pe mod muffler also clamped on(not in img).

Got vibrant resonator 1792 put on to help with drone and rasp. I'm FBO (catted downpipes) with PE Mod and I was getting some rasp and drone that I wanted to get rid. After putting on the resonators, the rasp was basically gone, however the drone was slightly still there. Not as noticeable as before, but still some slight drone especially 1-2k rpms. Overall I'm happy, but has anyone experienced a more sluggish acceleration with resonators installed?

Hi!

I have a European 335i. I have VRSF downpipes. Second section removed, replaced by "Vibrant 1792" and the third section also removed by a straight tube.

I have "drone" when I go at 120km / h for example.

My car is manual. I have read to you that the ideal would be to change the H pipe for the X pipe of magnaflow and with that the drone would be removed.

It is true?
Would I lose sound?
Would I lose Burble?

Thanks and best regards

That won't get rid of drone.

Only the e90 guys do an x-pipe because it came stock with a resonator near the mufflers.

So, we remove the resonator & put an 2.5" x-pipe in its place
