N53 squeak noise

Hi guys

I noticed if i blip the throttle on my 2012 57k n53 it makes a chirp or squeak noise. It sounds totally like a belt slipping but it seems to be coming from the rear of the engine under the manifold. Pretty sure it's not coming from CCV as I had the top cover off and listened.

In the clip it sounds like an air leak but up close it sounds more like a belt type chirp or squeal.

Any ideas please? Hoping someone recognises from the description.

Thanks
Mike

Sounds normal to me. Just the usual noisy piezo injectors.

Yeah it's normal. Do a search on YouTube for N53 engine and you'll hear the same noise...

The chirp is the PCV valve.. probably ok but worth testing... if you pout your finger over the breath hole on the pcv... if it sucks hard then the diaphragm is bad, the diaphragm maybe just starting to tear.. Mine made that noise prior to me changing it when the rubber was really perished when i took it out.
