wheel grinding/scratching noise
I'd like to know if you think it's bearing or differential related.
sound started all of sudden on one day @ 20mph it stopped completely , later same day. Since then, it did not stop. Sound come from driver rear side. Sound disappear when turning right, or just having the wheel lightly turned to right. I've noticed if I go slighly uphill, sound stop. Few years ago, I regulary had grinding/scratching sound 1 day after tire change. It might not be either bearing/differential. Is it comon to have brake sensor or something scrathing ? thanks |

Does it sound like a howling sound when your drive at 40+? When your turning right or left it's usually a bearing that makes that sound. I'm actually getting mine done today from my Indy. It's a pain so I didn't want to tackle this one

I am experiencing a similar issue... but i think Sound comes from passenger rear side and "Sound disappears when turning right, or just having the wheel lightly turned to right".
