Anyone have the tires lettered? If so pics please

This app on my phone will not let me search, so if it's been covered already can you post the link please. I subscribe to performance BMW magazine and have seen a few cars here and there with the glue on tire letters. I am curious if any of you have done it, your thoughts and pics would be awesome.
Thanks ....B

Its funny because most tires came this way up to the late 80s. Then it went out of fashion, and blackwalls were the hot thing. Next big thing? Whitewall tires (again)?

Iirc theres actually a paint you can use as well.

I had the paint - which is almost like a very wet marker you push down on the tip to keep it wet as you apply (clean thoughts everyone). It looked very nice until it faded away in about 6 months. I probably went through about 5 car washes before it was almost all gone. Very disappointing.

Based on these three pictures
1) It looks super silly on low profile tires and...

2)would work better on meatier tires but

3) it looks like it would be tedious to keep the lettering bright white based on that third pic below:

Or any form of racing, including BMWs factory cars.

Being said, hard pass. If Michelin starts paying me maybe.

I don't think the 1st pic is that bad, 2nd is really F-ING Tacky ! Last one.... rub much ?
I personally wouldn't do it to my car after seeing more of these pics. I think they have a better home on a Mustang. Thanks for the pics & comments!

Looks awful on that black M4.

The only time I can see tire stickers looking good is on a heavily modified car
