Motorola phones and Sprint
Sprint just put out a news release stating that they'll soon be offering Motorola phones; well, at least the RAZR, SLVR, and new KRZR.
I'm physched, since I have Sprint and the only phone they offer that works with BMW's is the Treo (way to big for my needs). Just thought some other people might want to know about this.

The katana is also hideous.
Like most of Sprints phones. (I have sprint) I'm waiting for the Motorola Q to come out on Sprint early next year. Last edited by TheCount; 10-08-2006 at 07:28 PM.. |

I paired my wife's Sprint Treo 700p this afternoon. Paired easily. Her Lexus has a function to download the address book. There is no similar function on the 335 with iDrive that I can find. Intesting it did load her most recent calls into the directory and they work. Looks like the easiest way to make an entry in the directory is just to make a call and the car syncs this list automatically for the Treo.

I'm debating getting the KRZR (since it's the newest and coolest ), or going with the RAZR (still cool, and will definetely work with my car). My only concern is the KRZR won't work, but Motorola's seem to sync without issues... so maybe that shouldn't be a concern.

I was able to get the phone for $399 - $210 = $189 so pretty much $200 after tax, free shipping and no $36 dollar activation fee. I am not eligible for my $75 discount till Jan2nd 07 and then the additional $75 a year later but I called the retentions (cancellations) department to get some issues resolved then I mentioned I would be interested in the new Krzr phone for a decent price... I have been with sprint for 7 years now with $300-350 month bills. Retentions department usually hooks up their loyal customers.
After I went to my local sprint store to look at the phone and make sure I liked it a lot. They did not have one on the shelf (had the razr though) so I asked them and they pulled one out of the back for me to look at that they just got in earlier in the day. The phone in person looks great it reminded me of a black Ipod nano. |
