Talking M5board Airfield Race Event (w/ procede v2 335i) - Aftermath

So, we are on our way home from a very cold and a very nice event arranged by M5board with 20 some cars.

We raced against Porsches, Bimmers and Audis.
Some were faster, most were slower
One of the most surprising race result would probably be the one against a 997T =) Did it go well? Well... As I mentioned earlyer, this is a Teaser!

You will also get the results of the long awaited race between M3 E92 and Vishnu V2 335i E92

We should be home in an hour or so, then you will get MOORE!

Stay Tuned!

PS. Pic's and movies are on the way. DS.

Video will be updated at:
http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/sho...light=airfield

Videos on Youtube!
Procede V1 vs Modded M5 E39

BMW M5 Touring (Speed limit delete) vs Audi RS4 Avant

BMW M3 E92 vs standard Audi RS4

Vishnu V1 vs M3 CSL

Vishnu V2 vs SL55 AMG

update:
Weather condition throughout the day:
light rain (10min), partly cloudy - little sunshine at the end
8-10 degrees Celsius (cold wind)
Humidity 65-75%

Track condition:
Damp to dry

Speed: 50km/h - speed limit.
Example: M5 with speed limit delete reached 280km/h
I can reach max speed before the end of the straight

All the runs are fair!
Every run is documented and witness by everyone at the event.
Any hesitation or miss shift = Restart

Fuel consumptions:
V1 = a bit more than 1/4 tank
V2-=1/2 tank

Engine temp:
V1/V2 around 123 degrees Celsius

And the results are...
Vishnu V1 beats:

M3 CSL –win by 5~ cl
M3 CS- win by huge ., even the cameramen lost trace.
Z4 M – Win by 5~ cl

BMW M3 V8 E92 – Even up till fifth gear-> Pulled 1 cl and stayed till finish
Modded M5 E39 430hp Had a lead by 1-2 crl. Until my speed limit.
Got caught up until the end.
Have a video which shows it …. Really sick. (need speed limit delete.)

Lost:
BMW M5 E60 Touring – lost by 5~ crl. (bad shift points)

(quote: Pea)
Vishnu V2 beat the following cars
BMW M3 V8 E92 by 5-10 cl
Porsce carrera 4 by 5~ cl
Audi RS 4 07 by 5 ~cl
SL55 amg by 5_10 ~cl

BMW M5 E60 Touring = it was equal

I lost
Bmw m6 by 5~ cl
Porsche 911 turbo by 5~ cl

I did beat the porsche up to C.a 200-220 km by 2-3 cl then he passed me
The M6 was equal up to 200-220 then he pulled away

Maybe i'll have a look for my flame suit... Maybe.
As you probably know we're as axciting as you guys to share our material but we have to process it before posting and its a little tricky scinse we are currently in great Safe speed cruicing home. =)

What also is a bit surprising is how well broadband via UMTS works.

Whats UMTS? I have a Verizon Aircard on my laptop that lets me access the internet while driving (or someone else driving) at pretty good speeds....i'm on it right now.

UMTS is like EDGE but faster and we use to call it 3G. I'm sure wikipedia has some nice info about the differences between them both.

Btw. In 86km you will see the first post with pictures. =)
