http://www.**********s.com/Miro-111-Wheels-BMW.htm they are good looking wheels with enough concave in shape, downside they were a bit heavy ~25lbs and also they are cast wheels. i still have them and currently let my friend rocking them in his Z4M. honestly they are nice looking wheels that's why i never sell them and rather just let my friend using it.

Doo eet! DP's + secondary cats on PE would sound great! Then you can use a higher map with the Cobb.

I had my oil service and spark plug change out yesterday and one of the service consultants stop me in the coffee lounge and ask if i was running Cobb. I found it strange and wasn't sure if he was trying to pull a fast one, he even suggested getting one and uninstalling it before i bring the car in. Even though that was my intent but still told him I was going to wait. At the same time i found this being pretty cool and I appreciated his honesty. Just wanted to share my experience with my service rep. He even mentioned they came across a JB, and they didn't care. Just don't do something stupid and over boost your turbos. oh and i quote "why do we care about mods, we have to prove that the issue/defect came from the mod (we talked about Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act). Why do we want to deny service, we want to keep our workers busy." something to that affect... made sense to me...

Woohoo sold my car for much more than I hoped for! Thank god that POS is out of my life once and for all. I will never own another BMW out of warranty again, learned my lesson with my past 3 bimmers.

Congrats on the sale! I just fell out of warranty on my 3, and am hoping the car will hold another year without major issues.

Problem free from mile 1 to 35,000 miles. Knock on wood. The new Jeep is finally broken in, I'm enjoying the large V8.

i forgot his name but i think i ran into him once while i was waiting to pickup my car from service, he gave me some good compliments on my exterior mods and we started the conversation there. he seems a very nice guy, he knows a local forum member "trevor" who has a aw e90 with jb4+meth? but yea he told me what's service friendly what's not. he informed me DP is a no go but flash tune/piggyback, just put everything back to stock when the car is in for service/warranty, as long as they dont see it during they are working on your car, it is ok. that's why ive been holding up on DP for 2 years and don't wanna mess with it.

I ended up buying Will's Morr's vs8.2 rims tonight. He was cool enough to install them for me (Thanks Will!!). First impressions...
LOOKS- These rims, with the black/silver color combo, are a perfect match for my black e90. It's amazing how gorgeous rims can completely transform a car! PERFORMANCE - I definitely feel more of the road now, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. On my way home, a modded 350z challenged me, so I accepted. I was amazed at the sudden improvement in off-the-line acceleration as well as the steering response. However, I felt that my car was riding on air, which makes me think my Koni's need to be adjusted. I'll have to play with the adjustments since all 4 Koni's are externally adjustable. TIRES - I've been driving on V12s for the past 2 years because Michelin's were too pricey. It's amazing the grip these Michelin PSS' offer! So far, definitely no buyer's remorse. Next step..photo shoot in old sac. |
