Nice! Here are the pertinent bits of the readme file for those wondering:
Stage 2 This is recommended for vehicles equipped with full bolt on FBO modifications (DCIs, FMIC and catless downpipes) running on 93 octane fuel.* Peak boost target is 18-19psi @ 4000rpm, and tapers to 14-15psi by 7000rpm. *Boost control tables, torque limits, fuel tables, ignition advance tables, throttle control tables, VANOS tables and rev limits have been modified. Stage E40 This is recommended for vehicles equipped with (at the very least) DCIs and catless downpipes running on E40 (40% Ethanol) fuel. Peak boost target is 18-19psi @ 4000rpm, and tapers to 14-15psi by 7000rpm. *Boost control tables, torque limits, fuel tables, ignition advance tables, throttle control tables, VANOS tables and rev limits have been modified. Upgraded FMIC is always recommended for maximum performance. |

I noted that the diagnostic code values for CAT conversion and Fuel Pump plausibility are different from the Stage1.xdf definitions.
I have been throwing these codes while on stage 1 and was wondering why? Will this silence these codes now Shiv?.......the fuel pump plausibility one was making me wonder if my fuel pump was going. |

1.)Is this the update that you mentioned that can not use meth with?
2.)The fuel flash users, I remember there being multiple iterations of flashes, I was one of the first flash users, does the data in the readme still apply to us early flashers? 3.)Can you remind us of the difference for model years and the I8A, IJC, IJE to make sure we load the correct ones. 4.) What if we want the e40 map and are a flash fuel users, which map do we defer too? EDIT: Oh, I missed that this is for tablet users. Thanks, Last edited by pits200; 10-17-2013 at 11:32 AM.. |

I know what I am doing this weekend Now just gotta find a way to keep my battery alive long enough to install this thing. Really wish they would get the initial read time down but other improvements are im sure higher on the priority list.
Thanks for the maps Shiv! Cant wait to try this thing out and see how it compares to the Cobb OTS E30 map.

but since it's beta, and since it says you should use 93... a safe assumption is that it is too aggressive for 91. You could adjust it for your setup though |

EDIT my bad you were talking bout the stage 2 map not the E40 map. "Stage E40 This is recommended for vehicles equipped with (at the very least) DCIs and catless downpipes running on E40 (40% Ethanol) fuel. Peak boost target is 18-19psi @ 4000rpm, and tapers to 14-15psi by 7000rpm. *Boost control tables, torque limits, fuel tables, ignition advance tables, throttle control tables, VANOS tables and rev limits have been modified. Upgraded FMIC is always recommended for maximum performance." Looks like the E40 map doesn't care what base oct fuel is used?

It's currently tuned for 93 at this time so I would imagine it would require some tweaking.

" I'm assuming Vishnu has some intention of releasing 91 specific octane maps soon? |

You could MAYBE run 2.5 - 3 gal of E85 to a full tank of 91 to get your octane up. A lot of people including my self have done this or are still doing this to run the 93 cobb maps without having 93 available. I assume it would work the same way with this. Just have to watch your fuel trims to make sure your not running to much E85 if so you have some adjusting to do either in the fuel scalar or at the pump.
