Need Help!! my car is throwing out a bunch of codes
BMW E92 328i.pdf
So i was experiencing a rough idle when coming to a stop and dropping below 600 rpm. I continued my trip to work (Whittier to Irvine) I gas my car on the fwy it throws a huge cloud of smoke out of the tails pipes, (smelled like gas not oil) service engine comes on and the car goes into limp mode to i am putting off the fwy to my exit. i fire it back up to go home give it some gas puff another cloud of smoke .. continue to drive home no rough idle car still seems a bit under powered. continue to drive i get another service engine and car goes into limp mode again i make it to my mechanic to run the diagnostic codes and this is what he comes up with. I am strapped for cash right now as i am planning a trip for Europe this summer. on the attached the bottom box the things concerning me are 29D0 and the 29D2 misfires, can anyone help i know there is alot going on with the quick test report so please no you need a new car BS from anyone. |

To be honest all bottom codes should be relevant. Changing spark plugs and or coils might help with the ones you are more interested in.
Vanos maybe related the misfiring as well.

Thanks man after doing more research i am thinking it might be the fuel injectors leaking what is causing the smoke. i read up on the VANOS as well maybe it might just need to be cleaned or replaced the whole top portion is CODING lol except the footwell module 9CC1 communication with mirror, diver side disturbed i need to fit that so my mirror will work again.
