If you're going for that aggressive look then go for it.
I personally am not a fan of this look. The panel around the emblem looks really big. |

I do have an aggressive front and I'm lowered, which is why I think it would go with the car but on a mostly stock car I think it would be too much

When the trunk is painted to match the car....I LOVE them personally. Never been a fan of large, exposed CF panels myself. I'm all about CF accents for sure. No matter the car, large CF panels that aren't roofs have always made me think 1990's Japanese cars. I realize I'm in the minority though! Lol

My main concern with these is the quality. My friend has one, unpainted on his black 135i and it looks...okay? The clear coat/resin used has started to crack and delaminate (I fixed it by ~90% by flowing some clear coat into the affected areas), seemingly only from downforce after triple digit speeds. It's very fragile by the nature of the CFRP so you can't really torque the mounting points very tight for fear of cracking it, so if the trunk is open it wiggles significantly side to side. The body lines on his are mostly okay, but you can see in the thread that @uber linked, the lid doesn't have even gaps on the left and right (likely due to the amount you can torque the mounting points) and the body lines on the spoiler are close but nothing like OEM.

The most annoying thing imo is the alignment of the inner and outer tail lights. I couldn't get it right. One side would be aligned and the other wouldn't be. Had to compromise and have them both slightly misaligned. |

Definitely a sweet boot. Although I went with a different option, this was the runner up. Love the way it flows with the body lines.
