Product of Enkei. Still not available in HK yet. Should be heavier than G7 as not forged rims but much cheaper.

P,

Looks very nice! I've been thinking about it and having seen it, I'm feeling even more itchy now. The rear sunshade looks very neat when down. I can't remember but to save me from browsing the previous mails, are the side sunscreens manual on your car?

It's very likely to be my next mod, having completed my audio.

Yes, it does make you itchy especially if you have kids

Guys,

I don't know if any of you have done the same thing as me.

I lean my elbow on the side door rest quite often while driving. As a result, I've now created a crater/dent on the area I lean the elbow on. I complained to bmw and they changed it. However, the same thing happened again. Looks like we have to be careful when we lean on the door rest. There's not much cushion and it can't easily bounce back in shape.

I do sometimes lean on the door rest but I don't have this problem but most of the time I lean on the centre armrest

i always lean on the top of the door surface levelled with the window glass , I seldom lean on the door handle.

honestly , until today , bimmer lovers still have not figured out why so many people buy Mercdes. BMW still has not learned what is a quality interior for a luxury car.

K & P,

Even I don't have kids, I found P's car looks cool with the shades on. That's why I want to add the manual rear shades.

After I studied their prices, I have some worry. The rear manual shade (51460398487) is only slighty more expensive than the side shades. I wonder if this 51460398487 is actually the manual version of P's shade. the price doesn't sound right. I don't mind if it is just clip on like the side shades, but whether I should order the cut-out rear parcel shelf.....that's the worry.

t
T,

I agree with you.....that's what make me chose MB even at E30's days. Personally, I feel the quality of my E90 interior is worse than the E46. I don't know if it just me feeling that....

But the E90 exterior looks ultra cool!

D,

I had the e46 before I got the e90. I can assure you the quality has gone down south. The metal body is softer (or thinner) and the interior. But the driving is much better.

Personally, I prefer a bit more curvy dash like with the idrive version.

D, do let me know the price once it is confirmed. If the manual rear shade is just plug and play, I would consider to place the order.
BTW, p, is your manual shade for rear side window just PnP, or you need BMWHK to install it for you?

K, I like the E46 interior....it sort of wrap around you with the slighty angled centre console. It has more like driver car feel.

I was driving my friend's E46 last week.....the E90 is no doubt has better handling car....and more nimble too.
