Do I have AutoStore??

The manual describes it like everyone should have it, but I cant seem to find it listed in the, (presets, manual) tab. Is this something for Logic7 only? or for AM only?
I dont have Logic7, is this why I dont have AutoStore?

I think that has something to do with RDS. Doesn't it autostore the strongest stations in the 3rd bank of pre-sets? If that's what you are talking about I am pretty sure my non-logic7 does that that.

It is for AM only.

That seems really silly, how many people actually listen to AM that much that they need to have it Autostore. The manual talks about it for HD FM, but I guess I dont have HD either.

Am I reading that wrong -- that page of the radio manual suggests it should work for FM? On mine, it works for AM only. It is not an option for FM. I have iDrive and no AM or FM "buttons" to hold down.

Sorry, didn't realize you had a IDrive. My posted info was for non-IDrive radios. From Page 138 of the only IDrive version of the Owner's Manual I have it is apparently AM only...I know this is small stuff, but as the small stuff (little shortcomings of IDrive) keeps adding up I am more convinced that passing on IDrive was a good decision.

I think it works on FM on non-IDrive. I know for sure it did on my E46.
