Hey all,

I'm just about to pull the trigger and go for a new 328xi coupe, but wanted to check in on the iPod integration.

I haven't heard anyone mention about the availability of the second generation BMW iPod connection.

Does anyone have any news on this?

I just used the aux in that's in the center console.

Charge it on the sound dock at home and run it in the car.

Maybe I didn't put in the right keywords, but the combinations I tried with "e92", "coupe", and "ipod" didn't come up with any postings about what I'm asking.

Sure. The problem is that e92 and coupe probably limited it. I had the first iPod interface (installed in June) so I have a bit more information than most. Didn't mean to sound put-offish with my comment by the way. Sorry about that.

So - here is my thread from June and also a thread after the system was updated from engineering sample to final unit.

This should be more info than you probably wanted.
