I saw a post where a member swapped the front calipers and rotors on their 328i with those from a 335i. It was mentioned that one cannot do this with the rear because the emergency brake from a 335i is larger than those on a 325i/328i. Someone else also mentioned that the 330i, the e91, the e93, and xDrive models have the bigger emergency brake and that replacing the rears should work without issue. Has anyone tried this on their car? And if so, did you have any problems swapping them out?

front are all they same fitment wise. the rears, everything you said is correct.

So having a 330i, I everything should fit without modification?

I was also worried about the calipers hitting the inside of the wheels, but I figured the 18" style 162's should have enough clearance.

So I did the caliper swap on my 330i sedan and everything worked perfectly.

My question now, does the 328i xDrive wagon have the same rear calipers as a 335i?
